SUN-CUP – 2016 regional sport and ballroom children's dance festival took place for the first time in Saki at Sunny Beach resort near the sea on April 9.
A total of eight Crimean dance clubs from Alushta, Gurzuf, Yalta, Saki, and Simferopol participated in the Festival.
Sherif Osmanov, “Deputy Head of the City Administration, and Lyudmila Kobets “Head of the Department for Culture, Youth and Sports” greeted the audience before the start of the competition.
The participants competed solo and in pairs in 4 age groups; dance styles: slow waltz, cha-cha-cha, solo.
In the interims, the audience enjoyed the performance of the students of Yu.Bogatikov Children's Music School.
All young participants of the Festival were awarded with medals, cups and prizes.
The event was organized by Zephyr Sport Dance Club with the assistance of the "City Administration" and the Culture Leisure, Youth and Sports Center in Saki.
