Bakhchisaray Historical and Cultural Preserve to participate in XVI International Museum Festival INTERMUSEUM, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation in Moscow.
Director of the preserve Elmira Ablyalimova announced this, QHA reports.
According to Ablyalimova, two applications in two nominations were prepared, they are “Museum exhibits to preserve and display” and “Museum is the center of regional attraction”.
“Regardless the results of the festival, second project [‘Museum is the center of regional attraction’- ed.] should be carried out this year”- she said.
As reported, the project includes work on the environmental path equipped with steps, railings, benches, extra billboards and signs.
To recall, Deputy chairman of Bakhchisaray rayon administration Elmira Ablyalimova was be appointed director general of Bakhchisaray Historical and Cultural Preserve in April.
The preserve, includes Khans palace, cave town Chufut Kale, Uspensky monastery and other sights. It has applied to UNESCO for including to UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list.
