Crimea to promote its resorts in Russia

AQMESCIT/ SIMFEROPIL (QHA) - Crimea will give UAH 1 million to Russia for promotion of its resort and potential.
Advert video about spring and summer vacation in Crimea will be broadcast on Russian TV channels.
To show the video in Belarus and the Baltic states, it is planned to allocate UAH 500 thousand to each, according to the Crimean Resort and Information Centre.
Crimean authorities have already prepared the advertising video. The issue on amending the republican budget for 2012 in order to allocate the funds to promote the autonomy’ resort potential abroad will be submitted for the consideration by the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Rustam Temirgaliiev, Head of the Permanent Commission of the VR ARC on Health-Resort Complex and Tourism, is confident that this will be Crimea’s first serious step to compete with Egypt and Turkey.
