  Crimea participating in EMITT exhibition ISTANBUL (QHA) - The Crimean delegation is taking part in the East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (EMITT) that started working in Istanbul, Turkey, on February 9, according to the Resort and Information Centre of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (ARC).
The delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism of ARC, Mykola Marinov, is composed of representatives of the Crimean travel industry, in particular, children’s camps ‘ICamp’, ‘Mandarin’ and ‘Kakadu.’
As reported, the Crimean delegation will hold meetings with representatives of the PRDProduction TV channel, during which they will discuss filming a programme about Crimea.
In addition, meetings are scheduled with the leaders of tourism companies Tour-Collection, Kratus-Tour and Aya Sofia. Among the subjects of discussion will be the possibility of establishing joint Crimea-Turkey tours on the historical sites of the Ottoman Empire.
On February 10, it is planned to hold meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the management of the Adriyatik tour company and managing director of the company PAVEWAY EXPLORER HOLIDAYS (Singapore).
As QHA earlier reported, last fall, during a meeting between the Vice Prime Minister of Crimea Heorhii Psariov and the leadership of the Turkish TRT TV Channel, the parties agreed that Turkish TV channel will shoot a film about the opportunities for recreation and tourism in Crimea.

Reference: International Exhibition ‘EmittIstanbul-2012’ is one of the fifth largest tourism exhibitions in the world and attracts tourism professionals from all continents. According to organizers, this year’s exhibition will be attended by more than 4,500 participants from 60 countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and South America.
